Talk:NAND and NOR

From PHWiki

erm tepples, if you want to write another article, write another article, but don't just go erase basically all of what i wrote here.

I didn't erase any information. I moved the information that applies to all block devices, whether NAND-based flash cards or even hard drives. Hard drives aren't NAND, but they're more like NAND in practice than like anything else. Two words: CF Microdrive. --Tepples 19:42, 2 Oct 2005 (EDT)
Sure, whatever, put what you want into your article but it's still relevant here, and there's no need to erase it from here, which is what you did. Titney 19:50, 2 Oct 2005 (EDT)
In MediaWiki, there is no "your article" or "my article". At least on my machine, right below "Save page" is a warning: "Please note that all contributions to PHWiki may be edited, altered, or removed by other contributors. If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly, then don't submit it here." I'd guess that if something applies to all block devices, not just NAND block devices, then it more properly belongs in an article about block devices rather than an article about NAND block devices. --Tepples 19:58, 2 Oct 2005 (EDT)
as long as "you" are the only one writing it, for all intents and purposes it's "yours". and merciless editing obviously cuts both ways. since you rewrote it i dont see the problem with the info being in both articles. Titney 20:32, 2 Oct 2005 (EDT)
