PSP-Dev

PSP-Dev is a Spanish based group and are the second most prolific development group for the PSP, right after WAB. What makes PSP-Dev different to other PSP development groups is the fact that they have also released several ISO's making them a Release Group.
PSP-Dev was created early on in the PSP Scene and excluding Paradox were the first proper release group after several Paradox related Joke Groups were created.
PSP-Dev began to create tools and applications for the PSP before joining with WAB to work on the WAB Memory Stick Launcher V3 and then again later on the proposed downgrader. But PSP-Dev are most famous for creating the KXploit, which allowed the use of homebrew applications on V1.50 Firmware PSP's.
To this day, PSP-Dev have not released many more games nor have they released any homebrew software recently, although it is said that they are working on cracking the V2.00 PSP Firmware in order to understand the system better.
On the 10th of November, 2005, CyBlade, PSP-Dev's founder died from a long fight with cancer. Below is what PSP-Dev said in their announcement:

Hoy es un día triste para toda la Scene y en especial para nosotros... Nuestro fundador y el que siempre ha sido el corazón del grupo ha fallecido esta madrugada a causa de un cancer contra el que ha luchado durante meses.
CybBlade, te echaremos muchisimo de menos, descansa en paz amigo.
English:
Today is a sad day for Scene, and specialy for us... Our founder, and the man who always was the heart of the group has deceased this morning because of a cancer that was his fight for months.
CybBlade, we will miss you, rest in peace my friend.
