MAX Media Player
From PHWiki
MAX Media Player is a video and audio playing package for the DS made by Datel. It consists of a 4GB hard drive cartridge that's inserted into the GBA slot and a passthrough card inserted into the DS slot. This card is also sold separately as the MAX Media Launcher and has NoPass functionality.
The MAX Media Player can also be used to play some homebrew. You will need to check compatibility. Most apps like Moonshell work, and many emulators now have MMD support. The 4GB HDD version has some issues with homebrew, including loading speeds.

Max Media Dock
Like the Media Player but instead of a built in hard drive it uses replaceable CompactFlash cards for media storage.
Max Overload
Max Overload is a third party patcher for commercial DS roms. The ROM Patcher for the GBAMP also works, as it is just cracked for GBAMP for this version.
For more details, see article Max Overload.
Newer Versions
Recently, a newer version has been released called "Max Media Player PMP." PMP stands for Personal Media Player. It comes with a Max Media Launcher updated to V1.22, a 'GigaPack', a USB cable, and a CD with the video converter software. The 'Gigapack' is a cartridge aroung the size of a standard GBA cart, with a rounded top. It fits in the original DS, but practically dissappears. It has one Gigabyte of memory (8 Gbit) and has significantly faster loading speeds. The easiest place to buy it is Best Buy, but you may have to ask them to go to the back room to get one.
