Games n' Music is a microSD to SLOT-1 adapter for Nintendo DS, manufactured by Datel. It is capable of playing MP3 audio files, video files in Datel's proprietary format, and many homebrew programs.

Like R4, the GNM package contains an microSD to DS adapter, a utility disc, and a USB microSD writer. GNM also comes with a 128 MB microSD card.

Advantages

Because Wal-Mart and Best Buy stores in the United States sell the GNM on their shelves, it does not need to be mail ordered, unlike most other flash cards.

Drawbacks

GNM reads and writes the microSD card more slowly than some other adapters. Unlike R4, which uses the 4-wire SD proprietary interface, GNM uses the slower 1-wire SPI bus used by EEPROM save chips on DS cards.

For this reason, as well as the lack of a patcher, GNM is not useful for piracy of full-size DS games. Official demos may work, and emulators that support DLDI should still work with pirated roms.
