EEPROM
From PHWiki
EEPROM is an acronym which stands for Electrically-Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory, a type of non-volatile RAM. It is a commonly used as save game storage in GBA and DS cartridges. They typically have a capacity of 128 bytes up to 4KB.
In contrast to EPROM, EEPROM can be erased and rewritten by low voltage circuits, while EPROMs must usually be erased by ultraviolet light and require higher voltages to program.
