DS BIOS

From PHWiki

The Nintendo DS has two BIOS files, one for ARM7 and one for ARM9. These should not to be confused with the DS Firmware or GBA BIOS.

The DS BIOS files can be used with the NO$GBA emulator.

The ARM7 BIOS starts at 0000:0000h in memory, and has two forms of protection. It cannot be read unless the program counter (PC) is within the BIOS memory range. Also, the first 1204h bytes cannot be read unless the PC is below this. The ARM9 BIOS is at 0999:0000h and has no such protection.

Flubba and Pepsiman have written tools to dump the DS BIOS, for more information see this forum topic.
