DSLink in ds slot

DSLink runs roms from microSD cards in the DS slot. Just like Ninjapass DS Flash FAT accessing homebrew does not currently work on DSLink, only licensed DS (no GBA) game rom dumps.

It does not have NoPass functionality built in, so you must first use some other device to flash your DS firmware with FlashMe to use this card.[1] The reason NoPass or something similar is still needed when using the DS slot is that original DS game cards are encrypted and digitally signed to verify that they're official.

Game compatibility is so-so. Problem games like Pokemon Dash that were fixed on GBA slot kits ages ago does not work, and apparently the memory chips in it are slow, because the Castlevania intro video lags.
Reportedly the developers of this card stated before it was released that while they haven't fully tested compatibility with DS game roms yet, it is a software issue that can always be fixed later.[2] Apparently they didn't fix it prior to releasing the card. This card, just like Ninjapass DS Flash, is relying on rom patching in the same way that the GBA slot kits do.

DSLink, like Ninjapass, is not exactly the final automagic DS slot solution we're all waited for. But NinjaDS, for example, has an autopatcher and supports fatacces by homebrew software. Another solucion (called DS-Xtreme) is about to be released soon, too.
